This week Jimmy talks with California theatre teacher Kelsey Wilk. She talks about devised theatre, her MFA program, and creating curriculum for diverse communities!
Director, Playwright and Theatre Educator
Drama teacher for K-5th grade with a special focus on social-emotional learning through theatre and generating original work with ensembles! I started a Figure 8 Troupe, a grassroots theatre company in Southern California, with my friends in 2015 after graduating with my BFA in Theatre- Original Works from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in 2012. I am currently earning my MFA in Theatre Education from the Mississippi University for Women.
