Shea King is an Instructor of Theatre at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV. Shea holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Idaho and has studied with Carol Rosenfeld and Mark Nelson at HB Studios. Shea serves as the Irene Ryan Coordinator for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region 7. Some of Shea's directing credits include Obama-Ology at the Bay Street Theatre, Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche at Redwood Curtain Theatre, Happy Days at Snowy Range Summer Theatre, and Seussical at Reno Little Theater. In 2022 Shea was featured in American Theatre Magazine’s ROLE CALL as a “Theatre Worker You Should Know."
