6.23 A Conversation with Brittany McDaniel

Brittany McDaniel has been the Communications and Theatre teacher at NPHS for the past ten years. She received her BA in Communication Studies and Theatre from the University of Sioux Falls, her BS in Secondary Education from Chadron State College, her MA in Theatre from Regent University, and her Graduate Certificate in Communication Education from Minnesota State University at Mankato. With over 80 productions under her belt, McDaniel is no stranger to the stage. Some of her favorite roles include Judy in White Christmas, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical, but taking over as head of theatre department has been her favorite role yet. In her first full season, the NPHS One Act took District Runner-Up and made it to the state competition. McDaniel is also the assistant director for award winning all school musical. Brittany and her husband, Sam, have three children: Allen, Johanna and Gracelynn, and a cat, Pat Pat.
