Teacher
William Palmer holds the position of Theatre Teacher and Director at Lee's Summit North High School in Lee's Summit, Missouri. He received a B.F.A in Theatre and a B.A. in English from Midwestern State University and an M.A. in Drama from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to teaching courses in theatre, public speaking, and film studies on the high school level, he has taught courses on acting, playwriting, theatre history, stagecraft, and creativity at the Universities of Oklahoma and Missouri as well as at Westminster College. He has also worked professionally as a director, dramaturg, actor, stage manager and props master with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Mizzou Summer Repertory Theatre, and Talking Horse Productions. William has served on the boards for the Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri, Missouri Alliance for Arts Education, and the Missouri Thespians. He was recently elected to the position of Treasurer for the Kansas City Cappies.
